I took the plunge two years ago and haven’t looked back since.
Yes, the initial thought of starting my own company from scratch in an industry I knew nothing about freaked me out. There were various elements of risk associated with this change but I was able to mitigate them by working with some of the industries best real estate coaches and mentors.
Fortune Builders, based out of San Diego, CA, is a premier real estate investment coaching company that has provided me with the systems, tools and knowledge needed to pursue a business that was foreign to me. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing group of people who have become lifelong friends. Everyone at Fortune Builders, from the top down, has a vested interest in motivating and helping others to achieve their goals. They also take a lot of pride in giving back to their community by partnering with multiple charitable organizations. Furthermore, they instill the same principles of strong ethics, integrity, leadership and hard work in each of their students and I am forever grateful.
Success did not come overnight. It took nearly one year for my company to ramp up. Especially since I also work a full time job. It was important to me that my company was built with a strong foundation. I spent months interviewing real estate agents, general contractors, real estate attorneys, etc. to ensure I had a team of A+ players ready lead my organization. Taking action and following through were key.
As Blue Ink Homes continues to grow and fine tune its business, we enjoy giving back to the community by improving the value of every neighborhood we work in. My team and I are honored to have a hand in the improvement of so many different areas within the greater Chicagoland community.
As Blue Ink Homes makes an impact on the community, I have also been blessed with the opportunity to become a real estate coach and mentor; teaching others how they too can follow their dreams and leave a legacy in their path.
I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world! It has been an exciting ride so far and I look forward to what the future has in store for me, my team and Blue Ink Homes.
