1. Boston- The city of Boston (the capitol of Massachusetts) has a population of over 700,000 people. The greater metro area has over 100 colleges that help make Boston a hub for newly graduated professionals. These graduates are helping bring more attention to the city buy founding new companies, opening new stores and employing more Bostonians.
2. Dallas- While there are many Texans who want to grow up an move out of state, there are seemingly more and more people that are drawn to the state for one reason of another. Of all of Texas’ major cities, Dallas is arguably becoming the most popular for professionals. With a job percentage increase of over 3% there’s room for even more transplants to move in.
3. Nashville- The city known for its music and honky-tonks has been expanding. The Gulch is just one of the new up-and-coming areas in Nashville that are home to young professionals and its growth won’t be slowing down any time soon. There’s new construction around every corner.
4. Raleigh- Have you been thinking about a move to North Carolina? If so, think Raleigh. The city is now a major metropolitan area and offers jobs in tech, health, research and education.
5. Seattle- Despite the rain, people are flocking to Seattle. The hip city is as hip as ever, has a great music scene and bustling urban centers. Young professionals keep the city alive and companies like Amazon keep a healthy flow of jobs in the area.
