How do you choose one room out of an entire home of must-haves for the Get The Look post? It was hard work, but the plush bed pictured above beat out the rest because, well, it’s just so dreamy! Here’s what you need to pull this look together…
A Plush Headboard: The inspiration for this entire look starts with the headboard. We went with a square, modern design, but there are so many on the market to choose from. In fact, houzz has a wide range of headboards pictured on their site.
Patterns Galore: Because of the neutral wall color that went with the headboard and most of the bedding we added some personality to the room with a big beautifully patterned bedspread. You may also notice the two matching pillows.
Pile On The Pillows: Count ’em… 1, 2, 3…9 pillows! The single best way to make your bed look like a dream hotel bed is pillows, and lots of them. And with pillows you don’t have to break the bank. Stores like Target and Pier 1 have reasonable year-round prices.
Faux Fur: Don’t worry… no animals were harmed in the making of this bedroom. The beautiful fur you see draped across the bed is fake, but who would ever be able to tell? The fur instantly warms up the room and adds texture to the space. We love its contrast against the light colors and feminine fabrics.
